"An unreal blend of sounds and influences  to make something so unique and memorable.... There's a sprinkle of afrobeat in there, soul, dance, R&B, Moroccan and Irish influences. Wow, that is something special. " - Abbie McCarthy , BBC Introducing Kent

"This is a beautiful  love song  about the magic of falling in love and her voice is absolutely stunning" - Claire Beck, Today FM

"Asha puts her own spin on R&B. She has a vision you don’t often see." - Le Future Wave

"Asha's latest single is saccharine sweet, full of yearning and euphoria as she dwells on a romantic connection that she hopes survives into old age. The video takes the viewer on an uplifting journey, expressing the rollercoaster of lust and adoration as Ari begins a new artistic journey: "Two lovers who’ve found their souls." - The Hotpress News Desk

"Asha Ari’s new single What Am I is a shining example of the kind of easy going alternative R&B that’s making waves throughout the music scene. The Ghanian-Irish songstress of soul’s gentle vocals glide against clanging 808 drums and galactic synthesizers that make you feel like you’re on another planet. " - Indie Underated

"Moroccan Ambassador to Ireland Lahcen Mahraoui met with up-and-coming Irish-Ghanaian musical artist Asha Ari and Moroccan Amazigh multi-instrumentalist Aziz Ozouss in celebration of their recent collaborative effort, “God’s Hands.”

March 16 marked the release of the single, which aims to bring people together and, in particular, to foster relationships among and reveal commonalities between citizens of Morocco and Ireland.

The Dublin-based singer—while still in the infancy of her career—has been named for Hotpress.com’s 2023 featured artist. Her works–which combine elements of soul, pop, and rhythm and blues–have been known for advancing themes of self-affirmation, positivity, and confidence." - Patrick Lansky, Barlaman Today
